Welcome to my Blog!
I created Life Revisions with the hope of fostering discussion with my audience and, hopefully, help people along the way. The content I provide is backed by scientific findings and my personal experience, when prudent. I believe sharing my own anecdotal insights to be important, especially regarding OCD, as I am diagnosed with this disorder.
The central aspect of my blog is knowledge translation. It refers to:
The process of synthesizing research evidence and communicating it in a form that is accessible, usable, and meaningful to non-expert audiences.

A little about me...
My background consists of a Bachelor in Psychology with a 1-year specialization in Clinical Psychology, and a Master's in Cognitive Science. During my master's degree, I wrote two research papers surrounding the topic of anxiety within the two contexts, dating applications and social simulations. The latter was accepted into a conference and is currently in-proceedings.
I was diagnosed with OCD around a year ago and have dealt with excessive anxiety throughout my life. Writing this blog helps me as much as I hope it helps you.
